Service Description
Sports massage uses moderate to firm pressure with a fairly quick pace to support athletes or generally active people before, during and after training. It can help to increase flexibility, prevent injuries, reduce DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) and support recovery following intense periods of training by encouraging localised blood flow and improving the condition of soft tissue. Sports massage has been found to help increase endurance, improve performance, and reduce recovery time after an injury. However, as my scope of practice is wellness massage for generally healthy people, I am not able to treat injuries, and as such, if you have a recent injury I would refer you to a remedial massage therapist or a physiotherapist.
Cancellation Policy
It is very difficult to fill massage slots at the last minute. If you need to cancel or reschedule please give me at least 24 hours notice or 50% of your fee may be charged. If you develop cold or flu-like symptoms, I ask that you reschedule your appointment and you will not be charged a fee for this.
